About Aly'an Band
Alyson Burke and Andrea Warner have shared many moments, bringing together this dynamic female duo act, known as "Aly'an". They are one of country music's newest and hottest female duet acts. Growing up in a small, central Kentucky town, the girls have not always shared the spotlight together. Beginning in their younger years, they competed against each other in local talent contests and made appearances on many Saturday night jamboree stage shows across Kentucky solo acts. However, Saturday nights were not the only times the girls crossed each other's paths. In a public school with less than 500 students, the girls shared hallways, teachers, and classrooms from kindergarten up until graduation. Their similar interest in sports led them to the play on the same high school basketball team, leading to the development of a fast growing life-long friendship. From this friendship and their similar love for music, the idea of a duet act was born. Alyson and Andrea proposed their idea to Andrea's father, Tony, who from many years of being a musician, contacted local friends and began a new band, currently known as The Wild Roses. They began playing at local events, such as fundraisers and restaurants, developing a huge fan base. From this fan base, many contacts were made which extended their performances to county fairs and festivals. The high energy performance, crisp harmonies, and variety of music drew people to hear the girls perform from all over the state, igniting an intense buzz throughout the music community. Alyson and Andrea took advantage of the opportunities offered, such as being the opening act for Nashville stars such as Trent Tomlinson, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Chris Knight, and many others. In 2009, the girls began making performances outside of the bluegrass state adn into new areas such as Atlanta (GA), Green Bay (WI), Decatur (IL) and several other popular destinations around the nation. As members of BMI, the girls have added several original songs to their live performances, displaying their unique style and song writing capabilities. Currently, the girls are making both acoustic and live band performances, promoting their new album "Sweet Harmony". The title track, "Sweet Harmony", was co-written by Andrea and Alyson and has received radio play both on Sirius and central Kentucky radio stations. Their fan base is growing and spreading nationwide, so don't miss your opportunity to catch their show live!
