About Familiar
Faces --
Familiar Faces was formed in the summer of "1990" by the famous entertainer, Jimmy Church, out of Nashville, TN. With the idea of forming a band that could do the best of the 60's and 70's and also the Top 40's,he added twirling horns, tight lead and background vocals and a driving rhythm section. Knowing that he needed someone to lead this high-energy band he recruited his son, Tim Gaines-Church, who is also the lead vocalist and keyboard player.
Since then, Familiar Faces has gone on to be one of the busiest bands in the Southeast, playing anywhere from Chicago, the State of Kentucky and Alabama, and Florida. They also bring their own sound production and lights to insure their audiences of a great listening and visual experience.
Besides playing Country Clubs and specializing in Wedding receptions, they also play Frat parties, Birthday parties, Company parties, or if you're just inviting friends over for a good time around the pool. So if you're thinking of having a dance and the time of your life, let the good times roll with "Familiar Faces".
